Prices & Data
Where does CryptoHub get its price data? +

Cryptocurrency prices are sourced from multiple leading APIs including CoinCap, CoinMarketCap, and Binance. Precious metals prices come from financial market data APIs. Stock and ETF prices are sourced from global market data providers. Data is refreshed in real-time or near real-time throughout the day.

How accurate are the prices? +

Prices are sourced from reputable market data providers and are generally accurate. However, slight differences may exist between CryptoHub and specific exchange prices due to API latency, data source differences, or network delays. CryptoHub displays data "as is" and does not guarantee 100% accuracy. Always verify prices on your exchange before making any trades.

How often are prices updated? +

Prices are updated in real-time as data arrives from our API sources. Most cryptocurrency prices refresh every few seconds. The ticker at the top of the page scrolls live market data continuously. You can also manually refresh any section using the refresh buttons available throughout the interface.

How many cryptocurrencies does CryptoHub track? +

CryptoHub tracks over 5,000 cryptocurrencies sorted by market cap, volume, and other metrics. You can search for any coin using the search bar, filter by blockchain network (Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana, etc.), and sort by price, market cap, volume, or 24h change.

AI Analysis
What is the AI analysis feature? +

CryptoHub includes an AI-powered analysis assistant that can analyze any cryptocurrency on demand. It uses technical indicators (RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands, moving averages, volume analysis) combined with market sentiment to generate a buy/sell/hold recommendation with supporting reasoning. Simply click on any coin and select "AI Analysis" to get an instant report.

Is the AI analysis financial advice? +

No. AI analysis on CryptoHub is for informational and educational purposes only. It is not financial advice. The AI generates analysis based on technical indicators and historical patterns, but cryptocurrency markets are highly volatile and unpredictable. Always do your own research (DYOR) and consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions.

What is the Fear & Greed Index? +

The Fear & Greed Index is a market sentiment indicator that measures the overall emotional state of the crypto market on a scale from 0 (Extreme Fear) to 100 (Extreme Greed). It is calculated using factors including price volatility, market momentum, social media sentiment, and market dominance. Extreme fear can signal buying opportunities, while extreme greed may indicate an overheated market.

What is the Altcoin Season Index? +

The Altcoin Season Index measures whether the market is in "Bitcoin Season" or "Altcoin Season." When altcoins are outperforming Bitcoin over a 90-day period, it is considered Altcoin Season. A score above 75 indicates Altcoin Season; below 25 indicates Bitcoin Season. This helps traders understand where capital is flowing in the market.

Bitcoin Ecosystem (BRC-20 & Runes)
What are BRC-20 tokens? +

BRC-20 is an experimental token standard built on the Bitcoin blockchain using the Ordinals protocol. Unlike ERC-20 tokens on Ethereum, BRC-20 tokens are inscribed directly onto satoshis (the smallest unit of Bitcoin). Popular BRC-20 tokens include ORDI, SATS, RATS, PIZZA, and CATS. They can be traded on marketplaces like Magic Eden and UniSat.

What are Runes? +

Runes is a newer fungible token protocol on Bitcoin introduced by Casey Rodarmor (the creator of Ordinals) in April 2024. Runes are more efficient than BRC-20 tokens and use Bitcoin's UTXO model natively. Popular Runes include DOG•GO•TO•THE•MOON, RSIC•GENESIS•RUNE, and COOK. They are traded on Magic Eden's Runes marketplace.

Where can I trade BRC-20 tokens and Runes? +

You can trade Bitcoin Ecosystem tokens on these platforms:

  • Magic Eden — Leading marketplace for both Ordinals NFTs and Runes
  • UniSat — Specialized BRC-20 and Runes marketplace with wallet support
  • OKX Web3 — Multi-chain DEX with BRC-20 and Runes support
  • Binance — Lists major BRC-20 tokens like ORDI and SATS as regular spot pairs

CryptoHub provides direct trade links to Magic Eden and UniSat from the Bitcoin Ecosystem tab.

What stocks and ETFs does CryptoHub cover? +

CryptoHub tracks major technology stocks (Apple, Microsoft, NVIDIA, Tesla, Meta, Amazon, Alphabet) and crypto-related ETFs including spot Bitcoin ETFs (BlackRock's IBIT, Fidelity's FBTC), gold ETFs (GLD, IAU), and silver ETFs (SLV). These are tokenized or reference prices sourced from global financial market APIs.
